Professional racing driver, TV Presenter, World Record Breaker and Hollywood Stunt Driver; Ben Collins is one of Britain’s most renowned and unusual sportsmen. Ben’s rise through the ranks of international Motor Racing has been a unique journey and he recently made history by becoming the first Englishman to drive in Nascar for some thirty years. Ben recently presented a TV show for the BBC called ‘Extreme Teens’ and has also been known to carry out some daring stunts on numerous car shows such as ‘Driven’, ‘Top Gear’ and ‘Pulling Power’. He currently co-hosts the NASCAR show for Sky Sports which is airing live on most weekends. Few racing drivers can boast to have won as many races in such a variety of racing series as Ben, from Le Mans racing to Formula Three and now Nascar Stock Cars. As a journalist Ben provides punchy reports on the hottest racing cars and Supercars for Autosport magazine as well as the Sunday Times. Last year he set multiple world records, drove a car on two wheels and dragged a professional surfer behind a car at over 50 KPH.
Ben has worked with a number of celebrities over the years and recently has been teaching Daniel Craig the fine art of advanced driving for the forthcoming Bond Movie – ‘Quantum of Solace’. As a consultant on set Ben will be a key member of the stunt team which will produce some of the most daring car stunts ever seen. From Uri Geller to Sir Jackie Stewart and Nicholas Cage, Ben’s career has been touched by the unusual, the extreme and the unknown.

Ben is an expert on cars and above all on driving and the mental aptitude required to be a professional. He is able to get across what it really feels like to go racing and relate his knowledge of personal development to everyday life.
Much of Ben’s character was forged as a child when his family moved to America and Ben was enrolled into a local swimming team. His competitive nature drove him to nationwide competition and a grueling training regimen of some 30 hours a week by the age of 7. The concept of Winning was forever etched into his ethos and the determination to succeed has remained a constant in his life.
When Ben decided to join to the Royal Air Force (aged 11) to fly fast jets he was dismissed by the Eye Examiner who told him; ‘they wont even let you load the bombs’. A few years later he would be racing at speeds of over 220mph at Le Mans.
Ben understands the corporate world well and was even hired by Hornby plc for several years as the Brand Manager for Scalextric, during which time sales of the model cars rebounded under his direction. Ben spends a great deal of time hosting corporate events and track days and is astute to the relationships between companies.
Ben’s boundless enthusiasm, interest in all things and never say die attitude makes him an endearing guest and a captivating speaker.
