Simon Moores is widely recognised as one of the UK's most respected technology columnists and broadcasters.
Simon Moores is also Programme Director and Chair of the annual international eCrime Congress and Intellectual Property (IP) Risk Conference. A former chief executive and Chairman of The Research Group, he has, over the last twenty years, chaired many well-respected IT User Groups and Forums and conferences, which include Payment Card Industry (PCI) Europe, Tackling Organised Crime and the eGovernment Forum.
A co-author of the Conservative Party's "Digital Plan for Britain" he is a director of the centre-right open market policy ‘think tank', Aediles and advises government, business and the media on the evolution, development and application of eGovernment, Internet-related technologies and their impact. He is known for his expert work on eGovernment, information economy, online espionage, Hi-tech crime and information security issues.
Frequently acting in the capacity of 'Trusted Advisor', Simon's many clients include The British Government, Microsoft, Misys, Unisys, Yell.Com and the Serious & Organised Crime Agency (SOCA).
He has frequently assisted The Foreign & Commonwealth Office and UK Trade Invest and represented the British government's Office of The e-Envoy, (Cabinet Office) as a technology and eGovernment ‘Ambassador', presenting and speaking at GCC, EEC and International Government events and conferences across the globe.

Acknowledged as an authority on Microsoft and as an original ‘Futurist' thinker, Simon has appeared regularly on the BBC News and Sky News' and is frequently called-upon as an analyst and technology expert on Channel 4 News, ITV, CNN, CNBC and Bloomberg television and radio.
Owner and Operations Director of the UK's leading aerial advertising business, Simon is also an experienced and busy commercial pilot.
Married with a teenage daughter, he now lives on the Isle of Thanet on the North Kent coast of England. His interests include martial arts, where he holds a black belt, cycling and working within his community to support the local people he represents as a District Councillor and as a member of the local government, Audit, Licensing and joint transportation committees.
