James Caan 's Background
James Caan began in business working out of a room the size of a shoebox on Pall Mall and has been creating, building, and selling businesses ever since.
He also co-founded an executive headhunting firm with partner Doug Bougie, which they successfully expanded globally through its Humana International brand, growing to over 147 offices across 30 countries before it was bought by a New York-listed company.
In 2001 he won the Enterprise of the Year Award for his outstanding business success and was recently a Resident Entrepreneur Mentor for MBA students at London Business School.

With a turnover of $200 million and operations in some 30 countries to mention one of his start-up companies, James's is an incredible success story.
A graduate of Harvard Business School's prestigious Advanced Management Programme (AMP), James was named PricewaterhouseCoopers Entrepreneur of the Year in 2003 and also won the Entrepreneur category in the Asian Jewel Awards the same year.
James made his name in the executive head hunting field with his company the Alexander Mann Group, which he headed from 1985 to 2002 and which became one of the UK's leading recruitment companies. James sold the company in 2002, enrolling at Harvard University for a well-earned gap year.
James's business expertise is widely sought after by academic institutions; most recently he has addressed MBA students at London Business School as well as elite students at Oxford University's Said Business School.
