David Gillespie 's Background
David Gillespie is a Media & Communication consultant. Previously he was an actor and writer. He graduated from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic art and joined the company of the Theatre Royal Stratford East where he "cut his teeth" as a performer in the theatre's many Variety Nights, appearing in sketches with such comedy greats as Barry Cryer, John Junkin and Victor Spinnetti.
He has appeared in many theatres throughout the world and London's West End. His TV appearances include - Red Dwarf, Jasper Carrot's ‘Canned Carrot', Andy Hamilton's Bedtime, and EastEnders for one year as Duncan the Curate.
He appeared in a series of Bremner Bird and Fortune and was also seen on ITV's ‘Who gates the dog?' and as the lead character in BBC4's ‘Stuck'. David also led the cast of BBC's totally improvised Operation Good Guys comedy series, which won Gold and Silver Roses at the Montreux TV Festival.
He has many voiceover credits and has worked frequently as a presenter for such events as The London Parade Festival, The British Squash Championships, WestEnd Live and the Wooden Spoon's annual presentation for HRH Princess Anne.

David has gained a strong reputation as a media and communication consultant, and is frequently asked to appear on News programmes to comment on Politicians and other leading figures. He recently commented on the BBC's Newsnight programme about Gordon Brown's communication skills.
