Alfie was our headline act and lived up to that billing brilliantly. He had a mixed audience of over 260 in the palm of his hand with hilarious stories and well worked gags about life in the Force. His delivery was expert and he went down brilliantly. Everybody we've spoken to since singled Alfie out as one of the highlights of the 9 act line up.

Furthermore, Alfie was a real help in the planning and promotion of the event - his input and advice was invaluable. What was even more invaluable was the fact that the media absolutely loved Alfie as a serving police sergeant turned comedian. We got a huge amount more exposure thanks to this - much more so even than promoting it using our more well-known acts.
